Where is my money held?+
On your own exchange account, in your name. You fund it yourself and you keep withdrawal rights at all times. Uriel never takes custody of your capital.
Can Uriel withdraw my funds?+
No. You connect Uriel through a trade-only API key with no withdrawal permission. We can place trades; we can never move your money. See Security.
How do I withdraw, and how fast?+
You withdraw directly from your exchange account, like any normal withdrawal — Uriel is not in the loop. You can also revoke the API key instantly at any time, which ends our ability to trade.
What happens to my capital if Uriel disappears?+
Your funds stay exactly where they are — on your account. If Uriel stopped operating, the strategy would simply stop trading; your balance and withdrawal rights are unaffected.
What does Uriel actually trade?+
Bitcoin and Ethereum perpetual futures only, with leverage capped at 3×. No altcoins, no exotic derivatives. See Our approach.
Is this a fully automated bot?+
No. Uriel is an AI-quant system with human strategic oversight. The system surfaces analysis and risk context; a strategist makes the decision on entries and handles exceptional events. It never trades unsupervised.
How do you manage risk?+
Risk management is the core of the system: capital preservation first, dynamic exposure control, hard leverage limits and Freeze Protection that throttles or halts activity in extreme conditions. See Risk management.
Can I lose money?+
Yes. Risk controls reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. Crypto derivatives carry a substantial risk of loss, including total loss of capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
What are the fees?+
A performance-based fee on realised net profits, with a high-water mark and no management fee. We only earn when you do. See Fees.
Who can invest?+
Uriel is offered to qualified or professional investors as defined by the regulations in their country of residence. We verify suitability during onboarding.
Is there a minimum?+
Capacity is limited and minimums are confirmed during onboarding. Join the waitlist and we will follow up with the current terms.
What about taxes?+
You are responsible for any taxes due in your jurisdiction. Your dashboard exports a full record of trades, fills and fees for your accountant. Uriel does not provide tax advice.
